I was asked an interesting question after I had done a reading for a gentleman a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure of the answer so I repeated the question to my son. Our guest has a question for you "there was a moment in the reading where my father in spirit seemed a little sad or emotional and he went quiet. Essentially do spirits hurt the way people do?"
Love you mom,
OK - good question- interesting to talk about. Your dad feels emotional to be able to talk with you and your mom and like you here in the physical world the emotions intertwine. It wasn't sadness at any time but an overpowering of emotions -like when mom cries at something special or beautiful. She looks sad...she is DEFINITELY not sad but overcome by the emotion of the moment as she sees it. No one else needs to feel that way - they are her emotions.
When your dad went quieter and seemed sad HE WASN'T - he was emotional - he would know your sadness, he would know your experiencing this emotion and reflect or acknowledge that feeling that was present in the physical world at that thought or experience.
We in spirit are not always happy or profoundly wise. We in spirit can and usually do realize people need to have these experiences to move forward in their journey. It may be difficult for us to watch but we pour love and support to them in the hope they will make solid choices. It's like when a sports game is tied and goes into overtime or is moments from the end of the game - we watch - it is nail-biting but we watch and hope for the best. Your dad was not sad himself for we understand there will be trials but he conveyed sadness to mark the feeling of your experience. It would be odd and confusing if he gave the feeling of happiness and this wouldn't ring true to the him you know.
I am creating this blog to honour my son who was killed in a car accident 12 years ago. After his death a series of strange occurrences began that made me search beyond my beliefs in the hope to discover if he was still there. Over the next 2 years with the help of meditation, awareness, and being open minded I learned to sense, feel and ultimately hear my son. Together we have learned how to channel his thoughts through me. I create this blog in the hope that the gift of healing he gives me can be shared with you and help ease your grief. These are his messages, part of my incredible story.
